Thermosil 3005
Quick curing, RTV-2, silicone adhesive sealant that facilitates faster throughput in aircraft manufacturing and MRO applications. Cures to a solid-state in 4 hours at room temperature and develops full adhesion in 24 hours. It bonds to a wide range of clean materials without a primer and is heat-resistant to 500˚ F.
Thermosil 4000
A thixotropic, two-part (A/B), silicone sealant that is applied as a potting compound for low-pressure compressor stator vanes in jet aircraft engines. Its superior elastic properties also allow it to function as a damping compound to minimize vane vibration and stress. Withstands operating temperatures up to 350 ̊F
